How to choose

Not sure which fits? Here's a quick guide.

i.

Choose Option 1
if you want a consultant beside you.

You want the educational consultant at the IEP table with you (virtually), supporting your child alongside you.

ii.

Choose Option 2
if you'll represent your child yourself.

You want to be prepared to represent your child at the IEP meeting. You'll go in with professional guidance and a clear list of recommendations.

iii.

Choose Option 3
if you have specific questions.

You have specific questions and just need a focused conversation with the educational consultant — guidance, referrals, or clarification about the process.

Meet Dr. Levin

A Ph.D. educator who's worked both sides of the IEP table.

I've spent more than 25 years in education — inside the classroom, on school teams building individualized instruction plans, and beside parents at the IEP table. My job is to make sure your child's voice is heard, in the language your family speaks.

i.

Credentials & Education

  • Ph.D. in Education, Walden University (2022) — doctoral research on biliteracy instruction
  • Master's degree in Elementary Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology
  • Native bilingual (English & Spanish) — consultation, documents, and IEP attendance delivered fluently in either language
ii.

Experience

  • 25+ years working in education across teaching, curriculum design, and family advocacy
  • Bilingual classroom teacher, School District of Philadelphia — served on psychologist-led teams developing individualized instruction plans to include children with disabilities
  • Special education advocate who has sat at the IEP table supporting parents
  • Curriculum designer and instructor (YMCA academy, Outschool); educational-resources marketplace manager; dissertation coach; published author
iii.

Why she's different

  • Knows how school teams evaluate, decide, and document — because she's been on those teams. That insider fluency turns into better preparation and better questions for your family.
  • Bilingual by nature — Latino families get the entire process in Spanish, from documents to the IEP meeting itself, not just a translated summary
  • Collaborative rather than combative — a Ph.D. advocate at your side is not the same as an attorney across the table. Meetings stay productive, and your child's team stays a team.
  • Income-accessible tiers — from a free Welcome Call to full representation, so families choose the support that fits their situation
An honest note

What is not included.

We are special education consultants, not attorneys. Our services do not include:

  • Filing a due process complaint
  • Any work that constitutes legal practice
If your case requires legal representation, we will refer you to a special education attorney in your state, as well as to the Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) and your state's Disability Rights agency — both at no cost.
